It should be recalled that the certification requirement for this product was established in 2008 under exemption resolution #32 of the Ministry of Economy, Development and Reconstruction, which was approved in 2009 by exemption resolution #1972.
Last year, protocol PE 5/07 (public lighting) was put into consultation in a joint effort between importers, marketers, certification bodies and testing laboratories through technical committees.
The result of these technical meetings resulted in a modification of the protocol which will begin to be in force at the end of February 2022.
