SISTEMAS DE CERTIFICACIÓN EN CHILE

The Superintendency of Electricity and Fuels is the institution in force in Chile whose purpose is to ensure that the community has safe products and services for the safety of people. It is the entity in charge of assessing the energy market in the country.

The certification process is defined in DS Nº 298/2005, which "Approves Regulation for the Certification of Electrical and Fuel Products", being INGCER Laboratory and INGCER Agency authorized for both electrical and fuel products.

Below you can review the different types of certification currently in force in the country through decree 298.

System 1

Type tests followed with regular control of the Products. It is subdivided into 011, 012y 013 respectively.

System 2

Better known as IsoCasco5 is a type test followed by a quality control evaluation at the factory and acceptance. This is followed by factory audits, factory sample testing and commercial sampling. For this system there are two subdivisions.

Sistema 3

El ensayo por lotes es un sistema en virtud  del cual un lote de un producto o familia de productos es sometido (a) a ensayo de muestreo y del cual se emite un veredicto sobre la conformidad  con la especificación (Sistema ISO/CASCO N° 7).

Sistema 4

Ensayos al 100%.

System 5

After five years in system 2, the manufacturer, marketer or importer passes to system 5 which consists of test type plus two annual Audits.

061 System

System based on the recognition of the certificates of type, approval, seal of quality and mark of conformity, issued by certification bodies with domicile abroad, followed by the extraction of a sample of the batch or item, which is submitted to The analyses and/or tests established in the respective protocols.
