We remind you of the documentation and dates of entry into force of the new PE 3/3 protocol, which will come into force at the end of March this year and will be divided into three stages:
The first sub-product of this protocol that will be required to be certified under this new test protocol will be single-pole circuit-breakers with a rated current of no more than 82 A and a rated short-circuit capacity of no more than 1000 A starting on 31 March 2020.
The second by-product containing this new protocol update begins September 30th and corresponds to Bipolar Automatic Circuit Breaker with a rated current of no more than 82A and a short circuit rating of no more than 1000 A.
The third and last part corresponds to the three-pole circuit-breaker with a rated current not exceeding 125 A and a rated short-circuit capacity not exceeding 2500 A, as well as the four-pole circuit-breaker with a rated current not exceeding 125 A and a rated short-circuit capacity not exceeding 2500 A. These two sub-products will come into force on December 31st of this year.
We also remember that our testing laboratory is currently the only laboratory in Chile that meets the requirements.
